Super impressed with their ability to do a wide range of seafood so well. The mussels were fantastic as were the fish and chips. The daily specials, in this case the spicy prawn mac n cheese and the scallop and bacon fish cake were also delicious. Service was warm and friendly too, making the little bit of a wait--they do a banging carry out service--well worth it!

I’ve been twice and both times we’ve had amazing food. Loved the monkfish and fish tacos and to this day, I’m still craving the lemon posset!! Will definitely be back!

so worth it!! hooked has amazing food, i ordered grilled cod with sweet potato fries, it was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time. my mom ordered the seafood tagliatelle and said it was the best she's ever had. definitely coming back next visit to galway.

We went to Hooked without making a previous reservation but they found a table for us even though it was a busy Sunday (St. Patrick’s weekend). The menu offered a wide variety of delicious starters, main courses and drinks. We ordered fish and chips and seafood linguine and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. The brownie we had for dessert was great too. The service accompanied the high quality of the cooking. The waitresses came around to check on our experience and they seemed to be authentically engaged. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant! It's a bit tucked away down a street, but this place is an absolute GEM. Delicious fresh fish for a reasonable price, wonderful staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend eating here if you love seafood! Kids menu is also fantastic.
