It's our official favorite restaurant in Galway city center! I had their calamari with salad and it was perfectly cooked, crispy outside and soft in the inside. My husband had their grilled haddock with chips and it was also perfectly cooked, glistening and moist in the inside and seasoning on point. The boys got their usual fish and chips and mussels in white wine sauce which were also lovely. Probably they were understaffed when we visited last Sunday for lunch but still customer service was excellent. We are HOOKED indeed!

Super impressed with their ability to do a wide range of seafood so well. The mussels were fantastic as were the fish and chips. The daily specials, in this case the spicy prawn mac n cheese and the scallop and bacon fish cake were also delicious. Service was warm and friendly too, making the little bit of a wait--they do a banging carry out service--well worth it!

Incredible fish. The fish tacos and oysters were fresh and fantastic. Great atmosphere nice to be away from the centre felt. Waiters were great only suggestion would be to dim the lighting.

Spicy fish tacos are a must. The Mac and cheese was also very excellent. The spicy calamari isn't a bad choice as well. Chips are what to be expected. Churro and sticky toffee pudding were also very good.

Best fish restaurant in Galway in my opinion. Always bring here family and friends visiting from Italy. Fish is always top notch, very fresh and perfectly cooked. Great amount of options and extremely welcoming staff.

Visited Hooked after the Macnas parade and very much enjoyed our experience there - the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.
