The staff were actively engaged in extensively chatting with each other and also making themselves look busy behind the counter. There seemedto be no one actually in charge. We waited almost 20 minutes to have our order taken and when our food arrived, a few items were missing and ultimately failed to arrive until we were nearly finished with the meal. We had previously enjoyed coming to Hooked quite regularly for several years when we visit Galway, but this time we were very disappointed.

Made our trip even better was our waitress Niamh, she was on top of every request. Gave our kids some colouring to keep them entertained which was a lovely touch and was extremely patient with my autistic son and made him feel comfortable which we really appreciated. Thanks to all the staff at Hooked and keep doing what you are doing!

  Visited Hooked after the Macnas parade and very much enjoyed our experience there - the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality.

  We were visiting Ireland and this was highly recommended to us. Could not have been more perfect. Casual atmosphere, friendly staff, GREAT fish.
